Da ich auf eine Jagd eingeladen wurde für heute Abend die das Ziel hat den Weltenzerstörer von Belsavis zu legen werde ich mir die Geheimnisse der Kreatur aneignen...so wird es dann hoffentlich für die Gilde einfacher diese Spezies auch zu erlegen...Alle Char 50er die heute abend Zeit haben auf nach Belsavis. Der Kampf beginnt um 20 Uhr !

So.

Aufgrund der Einladung in ein anderes Jagdgebiet und der dringenden Creditüberweisung im Vorraus an die entsprechende Stelle damit ich an der Jagd teilnehmen kann werde ich vorraussichtlich ab nächste Woche bis minderstens 26. April abwesend sein...

Jobs können in dieser Zeit leider nicht bearbeitet werden. Allerdings bin ich immer noch über Com Kanäle erreichbar...Macht keinen Unsinn in meiner Abwesenheit...

Klartext. Real Life geht vor. Hab sowohl für die Rebel Legion erstmal Geld aus zu legen welches ich dann später zurück bekomme für ein neues Projekt (mobiler Sound auf Events) als auch für ein neues Kostümprojekt auch nochmal Geld sodaß eine Playtime Card für SWTOR im Moment nicht drin ist....meine Jetzige dürfte entweder diese Woche oder nächste Woche auslaufen...und vermutlich kann ich mir erst wieder im April ne neue Card leisten...Da einige Charactere im neuen Patch umgearbeitet werden weiss ich auch noch nicht ob ich überhaupt nochmal den Kopfgeldjäger so spielen werde (Kopfgeldjäger erwischt es ja seine Punkte werden resettet)...kann sein das umgeswitcht wird auf ne andere Kopfgeldjäger Spezialisierung weg vom Arsenal.

in diesem Sinne schaun wir mal was sich im April ergibt.

Der auf Quesh den muss ich erst noch scouten wegen der Stärken usw. Im Moment muss ich aber vor Patch 1.2 einiges noch in trockene Tücher bringen und das bedeutet der große Grobe Klotz (mein Bountyhunter) liegt kurz auf Eis bis die anderen Sachen erledigt sind...

Ich schrieb ja auch "BIN IM MOMENT UNTERWEGS"...

Mit neuem Patch kommt ja dann auch endlich der Weltenboss für VOSS und noch ein weiteres Challenge "Wampa" auf Hoth und der neue Bereich mit Monster auf Alderaan...

Da wir ja heute Abend um 20 Uhr das 10+ Datacron uf der Flotte angehen wollen....wollte ich fragen ob danach alle 50er noch Zeit haben um mit mir nach Quesh zu fliegen um den dortigen durchgedrehten Lagerdroiden aus zu schalten...scheinbar wurde der von den Jedi manipuliert und wendet sich jetzt hauptsächlich gegen die Imperialen Besatzer was für uns auch nicht gut sein kann...Also wer ist dabei ?

Äh, das Datacron auf der Flotte? Habe ich da was überlesen?

Nein, ihr habt nix überles, Depa, Zaro, Zios und ich wollten gestern das cron holen, leider waren nicht alle Personen on und wir konnten die sache knicken.

Jetzt mein aufruf an alle 50ger die auf Corellia zum Axial-Park können, Meldet euch für das +10 Datacron.
Wir brauchen mindestens 4 Spieler (mehr sind natürlich besser). Sagt bescheit wie ihr zeit habt, dann können wir den termin festlegen.

Wir sollten auf jeden Fall 8 Spieler sein, wenn die 4 sich über die Abgründe bewegen zu den Plätzen, fallen sicher einige runter und die müssen dann wieder über die Brücke laufen. Da ist es besser wenn immer 3 an den Terminals stehen.

Ich bin leider bie nächsten Tage nicht da, von daher falle ich da aus.

Wir sollten jetzt bald den Belsavis Weltenboss mal angehen. Es gibt nämlich mit dem neuen Patch auf der Flotte neben dem Gleiterhändler ein Terminal welches Challenges hat wo man einen Level 3 Gleiter abstauben kann.

Und eine Challenge davon ist es die beiden Hoth Weltenbosse, den Belsavis Weltenboss und neu dazu gekommen den Voss Weltenboss zu besiegen.

Ideen wann wir das mal angehen wollen ?

The encounter took about 3 hours in total to learn and defeat. We thought at first we could 12-man it with full rakata gear and were pleasantly surprised to see the encounter is really tuned for 16 organized adaptive players.

Impressions

What is good about this encounter?

We found this encounter well designed, not buggy and thoroughly enjoyable. You truly need 16 people all pulling their weight, and deaths resulting in a complete inability to defeat the enrage timer on this boss.

In its current form this boss encounter would be difficult at best to PUG, which is how new content should arrive to players. You need a well-communicating, fully or nearly full rakata and reworked rakata raid group performing at 100% potential.

This encounter did not seem gimmicky outside of the requirement for the 30-comm or crafted "flask" to cancel the bosses 200k+ damaging ability (more on that later).

This encounter was designed in a way that you could swap out any type of healer, dps or tank (within reason) and still be successful as long as the players were performing properly.

Finally, quite possibly the best part of this encounter is, if you are successful, you receive a buff that adds +50 to all main stats for 5 hours (a full raid night for us). So this could be that sweet spot extra buff your guild uses on a boss you're getting to 5% wipe after wipe, just to put you over the top and finally get it down. You can only do the boss once every 5 days, so its pretty rare! This is the type of cool reward Bio needs to be thinking about going forward with new content.


What is not good about this encounter?

The most obvious issue that this boss has is, we were able to defeat him from first attempt to downing with 4 non-guild members (not that this is bad) in just 3 hours. To curb the "elitist" claims that some may shout, encounters are meant to be difficult, especially new ones that have never been seen before. I crave encounters that take multiple nights, days, and even weeks to complete by well trained and well organized operation guilds. This boss did not fulfill that need.

Solution - There are two ways to improve this encounter.

1. The boss was not overly complicated, so additional mechanics would be greatly appreciated to increase the difficulty of this encounter. A few possible ways, off the top of my head, would include dual debuffs to damaging the boss. Currently there is one that requires you not to dps the beast, only the caster, but the alternative does not exist, other than it being inherent.

2. Increase the damage that aoe's and abilities are doing to non-tanks. As a healer, I found the tank damage to be pretty crushing on the encounter, and a tank not paying attention to his or her debuffs would definitely result in a death. I think the tuning there is perfect. However, DPS and healing damage isn't really all that threatening on this fight, and it should be. AOE reticles did really minor amounts of damage to healers and DPS for standing in them. They should consider doubling the damage they do for standing in them for more than the time it takes to move out. The shields are set up well to kill off the DPS who are pew pew'ing too hard, so I wouldn't change that

The Item Required To Fight This Boss

I stated that I would get back to this item later, so here it is.

There has been a lot of pushback on this item being required for the encounter, mostly because of misinformation that it is required for the last boss in the new operation, which dev's have already pointed out to be untrue. But it is required for this fight.

For those who do not know, the BoP stim costs 30 daily commendations(Blackhole type from Corellia, more than 1 day of grinding) or 10 comms for a pattern that makes it craftable (but requires a new mat that is very rare and only found on two planets in the daily areas, and only for 2 professions,(Artifice and Armstech) so you can craft a BoE version of the stim.)

This item gives you a buff to mitigate "mental attacks", which without you would be one shot.

Here are my reasons why this item is a brilliant idea by Bio, and is forward thinking for this type of encounter:

1. It discourages complete pugging of the boss, makes 16man raiding important, and makes world bosses relevant - Most people aren't going to spend the time to farm up the item, just to blow it on a potentially horrible PUG that wont get the boss down. This results in guilds focusing on getting 16 good players together to complete this encounter.

2. This discourages griefing. If you don't have the item, you're not going to pull this boss into the world, because it will one shot you. You aren't going to pull the boss on a guild trying the boss because it will one shot you. You won't even get in the way of this boss while an attempt is going on, because the boss will kill you and the other guild will laugh at you.

HELLO WORLD PVP!!!

Coming from a PVP server, this also means this boss will be contested since the buff is so valuable and helpful in progression raiding.

Potentially, a night of raiding could turn into a world 16 v 16 guild vs. guild brawl that lasts until one side finally gives up! Thus far nothing in game has been worth fighting for in open world PVP (yes, I'm looking at you Ilum). This could change as guilds mature and start pushing to progress using this boss.

TL;DR

Overall this boss encounter is good, but has room for improvement. It opens the door to open world PVP and world bosses that matter in the progression world. It was fun, well tuned, but could be tuned better with higher difficulty.

High hopes for the rest of 1.2 operations content.

Achtung heute abend questen nach den Wrackteilen die auf Tatooine diese fürchterliche Seuche ausgelöst haben und evtl. gleichzeitig Weltenboss gebashe.....

Es gibt zwei oder sogar drei neue Weltenbosse auf Tatooine die gelegt werden wollen....50er Chars bevorzugt...alles andere wird mitgeschliffen *ggg*....der jetzt fürs Event verseuchte alte Weltenboss auf Tatooine gibt nochmal einen neuen Codexeintrag.

Einige der 50er haben die Viecher noch nicht. Machen wir das nochmal, irgendwann?

Also ich würd sagen momentan ist sowas grad ganz schlecht, solange das Event läuft, da ja doch einige sich auch die Marken und Ausrüstung verdienen wollen.

Und nur mal so nebenbei, ich hab seit Montag jeden Tag mehrere Weltenbosse auf Tatooine gegrillt. Mein Rekord war Dienstag, da mussten derer gleich 5 dran glauben.

Dito...die verseuchten Bosse auf Tatooine müssen ja für den Titel gelegt werden...Pro Char insgesamt 3 mit 3 Characteren teilnehmen bedeuet 9 mal Spass haben....


AUFGRUND DER SEUCHE AUF TATOOINE WIRD DIE JAGD AUF DIE UNTIERE DER RESTLICHEN RAUMBEREICHE ERSTMAL EINGESTELLT....wir können nicht riskieren einen von den Viechern an zu stecken...das könnte fatale Folgen haben....man stelle sich vor das Biest auf Belsavis....unvorstellbar....

ich denke Khyron meint die Bosse auf Tatooine...wäre schön wenn sich da ne Gruppe zusammenfinden würde...auch mit den Leuten die die Bosse schonmal gekillt haben...man kann sich ja gegenseitig helfen...dafür ist eine Gilde ja da oder nicht?

Also ich könnte da höchsten noch bei dem Wraid mitmachen, bei den anderen beiden verursache ich sowieso keinen Schaden mit meinem Level. Der fehlt mir auch noch mit meinem Agenten zum Eindämmungsoffizier.
